Practice for Antarctica

I’m heading to Antarctica next week so it’s time I started testing some of my gear. The real challenge is trying to keep your hands warm while operating the 100+ button combinations while baby penguins frolic around as you lose feeling in your finger tips.

As any Canadian will tell you the trick is layers. I’m wearing 2 gloves – a snowboarding glove and some kind of wool mashup underneath. So I took a few snaps in Ottawa to test the gear and it works a treat.

btw, that glove/nikon photo was taken with a iPhone 4S – the image quality is insane

    Hi mark,

    I built a website on Shopify which i believe you created the template for…I was wondering if you could help me do 2 things:

    1. make my main image on my homepage a carousel/slideshow where I can feature 4-6 different pics

    2. put background music on it.
