3 New Shopify Themes
Shopify has an awesome theme contest on right now where you can win a bunch of design books and get money for your themes.
To kick off the competition I finished up 3 new Shopify themes: Birchwood, Threadify, and Dark Alder.
If you want to make your own check out this tutorial I wrote a tutorial for creating a theme from scratch.

Hi Mark,
I recently setup my first shopify affiliate store, and was wondering about a few things with the threadify theme.
Ive create a second blog, ‘lookbook’, and linked to it from the primary navigation, however it uses the h1: “… vintage blog” instead of “lookbook”.
Is this a change needed at the theme level, or can it be done via Shopify admin?
Cheers and thanks for the great free theme.

Hello Mark,
How are you? I just started with Shopify, and really liked the Threadify theme that you design, so I ended choosing the “Threadify” theme as my website layout.
You never had a “Contact Us” link on your theme, and I tried to look for a spot to add the “Contact Us” link, but to no avail. The only thing I could do is to change from “About Us” to “Contact Us”, which is located right next to the word “Check Out” on the web site. But to get a link, so people can e-mail me if they have any questions, I couldn’t do it because I can’t find it.
If you can please reply to me, and help me out with that issue, I really, really appreciate all your time. I do apologize for bothering you, even when I know you’re super busy, but the customer’s representative couldn’t help me, and I couldn’t help myself for the last 3 days, I have no choice but to turn to you for help!! Thank you very much and I look forward to hear from you soon!!
A Much Desperate Seeker and Best Regards,
Bellanie Salcedo

thanks for threadify.. the only thing that leaves me wanting more is an option to switch from the darker brown wood/blacks to a lighter birch with more whites/silvers/gloss. but i’m just not there as a graphic ‘worker’. thanks though, maybe you can help me bring that idea to life

I love the Threadify theme, but absolutely stuck on pages I’ve tried to add that never show up. I also wish I could put my products on their own pages under categories, and that those cat’s would show up on the left nav bar, too.
I would pay for a better theme, but just can’t right now.
I’m a 47 year old mother of two sons, 26 and 28, and a 25 year old quadriplegic daughter. I can’t go out and get a public job easily because of her. I tried it once, and had to leave work so often due to something going on with her, therefore, I’m trying to work from home.
I’ve had people complain that they get tired of looking through every page under catalog. They said search doesn’t always help because they don’t always know what to search for.
They’ve suggested catagories as well. Men; Women; Jewelry; and so on.
Can you help me out, sir, and if so, what would you charge?
Desperate to stay home and pay my bills! Please help me, and thank you.
God Bless,
Lanna Matthews
